Scott has been a licensed attorney for 34 years.  The first 20 he was a trial lawyer in Miami, Florida. Since 2003 he has been a Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediator. As a retired trial lawyer he believes that mediation and collaboration is a much better way to dissolve the bonds of matrimony than prolonged and acrimonious litigation. The recent addition of a Master’s Degree in Counseling has given Scott a deeper insight into the emotional and psychological issues that are a part of every divorce, especially when there are children involved. There are no two divorces that are alike just as there are no two couples that are alike.  As a facilitator, Scott’s goal is to help make the transition from married to divorced as painless and as quickly as possible.
